Dr. Michael Shandler is an award-winning author, speaker, and executive coach whose work explores the intersection of personal transformation, leadership, and spiritual growth. His multiple award-winning memoir, Karma and Kismet: A Spiritual Quest Across Continents, Cultures, and Consciousness, published by Koehler Books in 2024, traces an extraordinary journey through adversity, self-discovery, and spiritual awakening. Spanning continents, cultures, and decades, it explores how fate, choice, and resilience shape a life—and invites readers to reflect on their own search for meaning and purpose.

For more than forty years, Dr. Shandler has helped individuals, teams, and organizations achieve greater psychological well-being, authentic leadership, and high performance. As founder of Vision Action Associates and former Director of Leadership and Organization Development at Arthur D. Little in London, U.K., he has worked with leaders around the world, integrating psychological insight, collaborative leadership practices, and enduring spiritual wisdom to help people realize their potential.

Dr. Shandler holds a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and a doctorate in Leadership and Organization Development from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. A lifelong athlete, he enjoys cycling, hiking, and yoga.
